Welcome to a HærvejsPause at Himmerland Camping Herberg - in the beautiful West Himmerland nature, only 2 km from the Ancient Road.
We welcome both those who want to stay overnight and those who just need a break on their trip.
At the campsite Himmerland Camping, you can take a HærvejBreak as a hiker on the Ancient Road. The doors are open for those who want a break before the tour continues. For DKK 25, you can fill your water bottle, charge your phone, borrow a toilet and eat your packed lunch. For an additional DKK 25 you can take a shower. Payment can be made with Mobilepay or cash.
Himmerland Camping is a little gem in the middle of Vesthimmerland - only 2 km from the Ancient Road. It is within walking distance of some of Denmark's cleanest lakes and approx. 600 meters from one of Himmerland's best put and take fishing lakes.
There are plenty of good cycling routes and MTB tracks in Vesthimmerland.
